At Savannah Bike Tours, we believe that exploring our gorgeous historic city is even better when we give back to the community that makes it so special. Every month, we love partnering with local organizations that are making a profound difference right here in Savannah.
Today, we are thrilled to share our latest community update and highlight the amazing causes we are supporting for October and November!
October Partner: First City Pride Center
Donation Amount: $355
We are so proud to announce that our October donation partner is the First City Pride Center! Thanks to everyone who joined us on our tours last month, we are able to donate $355 to support their incredible mission.
As a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) organization, the First City Pride Center serves as a vital hub for the greater Savannah LGBTQIA+ community and surrounding counties. They offer safe spaces, free and low-cost mental health services, wellness checks, support groups, and community education. We are deeply honored to contribute to their ongoing work in fostering an inclusive community where everyone has safety, acceptance, and equal rights.
Looking Ahead to November: Grr Pet Rescue
As we roll into November, our focus shifts to our furry friends! We are excited to announce that Georgia Rescue, Rehabilitation & Relocation (GRRR) will be our official donation partner for the month of November.
GRRR is a dedicated local animal rescue working tirelessly to save, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need throughout the Savannah area and surrounding counties. Every tour taken with us this November will help contribute directly to their life-saving mission, helping rescue animals find the loving, lifelong homes they deserve.
