Thanks to everyone who joined us on two wheels last month, we are proud to announce a donation of $328 to the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club!

For generations, the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club has been a cornerstone of the Savannah community, providing a safe, welcoming, and structured environment for local youth during after-school hours and the summer. Their programs focus on academic success, character and leadership, sports, and healthy lifestyles, empowering kids to reach their full potential.

🏳️‍🌈 Looking Ahead: October Partner is the First City Pride Center

As the weather cools down and Savannah enters a gorgeous autumn, we are excited to turn our spotlight to our October donation partner: the First City Pride Center (Savannah Pride Center)!

The Pride Center serves as an essential hub for the greater Savannah LGBT community, offering vital advocacy, social connection, wellness resources, and safe spaces. By fostering education, support systems, and inclusive community programming, they work tirelessly to ensure that every person in our area experiences safety, acceptance, and equal support.

Throughout the entire month of October, a portion of every Savannah Bike Tours ticket sold will go straight to supporting the First City Pride Center's ongoing mission and programs.

Spokes & Stewardship: Celebrating Our June Donation to Tybee Island Marine Science Center!

At Savannah Bike Tours, we love exploring the historic streets, the moss-draped oak canopies, and the vibrant beauty of our city from the best seat in town—a bicycle saddle. But as much as we love Savannah’s rich history and architecture, we are equally passionate about protecting the incredible coastal ecosystem that surrounds us.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce that our June Monthly Donation Partner is the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, and thanks to our amazing riders, we’ve donated $444 to support their mission!

Why the Tybee Island Marine Science Center Matters

Just a short drive (or a very ambitious bike ride!) down the road from our historic district lies Tybee Island, home to some of the most diverse and fragile marine life in Georgia. The Tybee Island Marine Science Center does incredible work right on North Beach, focusing on:

• Conservation & Research: From monitoring loggerhead sea turtle nesting sites to caring for marine life in their coastal galleries.

• Hands-on Education: Hosting year-round programs, "Walks, Talks, and Treks," and touch tanks that teach kids and adults alike how to be responsible stewards of our beaches and oceans.

• Community Impact: Giving locals and visitors a deeper appreciation for the salt marshes, tidal zones, and marine creatures that make Coastal Georgia so unique.

Our $444 donation goes directly toward helping them maintain their tanks, fund educational programs, and continue their critical conservation efforts. Every time you book a tour with us, you're helping fuel these community contributions!

Did You Know? The Georgia coast has some of the most vital salt marshes in the country, acting as a natural nursery for marine life and a buffer against storms. Protecting them starts with education!

Looking Ahead: Rolling into July with Girls on the Run

Our commitment to giving back doesn't stop when the calendar turns. We are already gearing up for our July Monthly Donation Partner: Girls on the Run!

This fantastic organization inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. We can’t wait to support their mission of empowering young girls in our community next month.
